Peyton and Ethan, the owners of Side Street Creative, were taking a stroll one afternoon in April and found a beautiful historic building on 9th street. Ethan said to Peyton unknowingly, “What if we had our own studio up there?” — So, they messaged the number above the ‘FOR LEASE’ sign and were able to step foot into the space the very next morning. They loved it, but they kept looking for the space that felt like home.

As time went on and they viewed several locations, they stumbled upon what is called The Progress Building; a beautiful and historic building on 8th street that has been standing since the early 1900’s.

The first moment they walked into The Progress Building, it felt familiar and right. As they dreamed what they could do with the space, the dream slowly but surely became a reality. After a lot of love, time, blood, sweat, and tears — Side Street can now be a home to every creative that walks the streets of Huntington, West Virginia too!
